Justin Smith, Producer/Director/Writer
For 4 years, Justin was based at the BBC in West London as a personal trainer and sports massage therapist. And for six years he was a competitive cyclist. In 2007, Justin set out to write a book about the myths surrounding cholesterol. This first book $29 Billion Reasons to Lie About Cholesterol was published in 2009, and the following year, he started the preliminary work on the documentary film STATIN NATION.
STATIN NATION was released November 2012 and was very well received. This led to the production of STATIN NATION II, which was released in March 2015. Both STATIN NATION films were funded by the general public.
In November 2017 STATIN NATION the book was published by Chelsea Green in the United States and VAK in Germany.
